  • Privacy and Protocol
  • One of our primary concerns is protection of your privacy.   We never release client information to anyone for any reason. This privacy policy extends to "are there any of your products or homes in our area" requests. We trust you'll understand and appreciate this service after you become a client. Rest assured, we are never going to send a stranger around to have a look at your home or give someone your name and telephone number so they can call during dinner to ask about a product you purchased from us. We promise you will never end up on a mailing list or get a sales call as a result of being one of our clients. The shopping cart and secured server credit card payment services we use have their own strict privacy policies:  EmartCart at http://www.emartcart.com/ and Verisign at http://www.verisign.com. We reserve the right to refuse service to any potential client at our sole discretion.

  • Pricing and Payment
  • Colorado is the only state we ship to that is responsible for paying sales tax. Colorado deliveries pay 2.9% state sales tax and pickups in person in Summit County pay 5.775%. All other states are sales tax free (except Servel products). We do not accept international credit cards for payment and we do not ship into Canada, Mexico or any off-shore or international destination. Prices advertised as Free Shipping apply only to the 48 contiguous United States with a few exceptions for the odd island along coast. Orders shipped outside the 48 contiguous states (HI, AK, PR and APO/FPO) require bank wire transfer payment (EFT) no other option, sorry. Will-call pickup at freight dock and drop shipments to a third party (receiver is not the credit card holder) are only possible with wire transfer EFT payment in advance. Email natural@colorado.net or fax 720-293-1705 with full shipping address and order details for a personal quote and payment invoice. We accept VISA and MasterCard orders online for fastest service or by phone at 800-563-9720, fax at 720-293-1705, Email at natural@colorado.net. If you send a personal check, allow up to 10 business days for it to clear before your order will be placed. Cashier's check, wire or postal money order is recommended since they are treated as cash and orders ship immediately. Prices are subject to change without notice and do not include any applicable taxes (Colorado residents ONLY). Package and individual merchandise parts, components and product specifications are subject to change without notice. Special order items are bid on a case by case basis and quotes are generally good for thirty days unless otherwise notified.

  • Shipping and Handling
  • Most shopping cart items ship via UPS Ground except the flood alarms, which ship via first class or Priority US Mail, and books, which ship via Book Rate US Media Mail. Refrigerators, larger custom panels, larger kitchen hoods and septic systems ship via motor freight. The website will specify if motor freight is being used. Books, premium shade cloth, drywells, flood alarms and other "inventory" items usually ship the next business day. Kobe hoods and Servel gas refrigerators normally ship within 2-3 business days from one of our remote warehouses. ConServ refrigerators and Sun-Mar composting toilets are sent directly from the manufacturer (drop shipped), so we have no control over lead times, but they are typically only one to two weeks out. Time in transit can be 3-7 business days for all products, depending upon distance from that particular warehouse. As with any shipment from any distributor, be certain to carefully examine all of the merchandise (not just the outside of shipping box) before signing and accepting delivery. Should the driver refuse to allow you to inspect merchandise, just be sure to note any damage to the outside of box(es) on the shipping manifest receipt before signing for the insured shipment, inspect immediately and then notify us immediately should there be any hidden damage to merchandise. Please be sure to check the number of pieces (boxes) present against the stated waybill tally. With motor freight shipments, always make note on the waybill if the plastic shrink wrap around the pallet has been removed. If a unit is damaged and unacceptable, simply refuse shipment of that particular box and the freight carrier will foot the cost to return and replace after it arrives back at the warehouse. If a replaceable part is broken or the merchandise is only very slightly cosmetically damaged, you may elect to accept it and pursue an insurance claim against the freight company instead. Motor freight companies are typically very generous with small cosmetic damage claims rather than have to truck the item back. Signing the freight bill of lading without noting damage is your personal confirmation that the shipment arrived without any physical damage. UPS, DHL, and Fed-Ex package services (unlike a motor freight carrier) will accept hidden damage claims under their shipping insurance, but the process involves inspections at your home, paperwork and plenty of effort. Please note that we a very limited amount of time to report hidden damage to UPS under terms of their insurance, so inspect immediately and report any damage. Be sure to inspect merchandise for appearance flaws and defects before installation. Appearance flaws found after installation and not affecting merchandise performance are not covered under our warranty for returns or exchanges. Mechanical problems are covered under the manufacturer warranty, but hidden damage (cosmetic dings and dents you find later) are not necessarily covered by the freight carrier, TheNaturalHome.com or the distributor.

  • Product Returns
  • All returns, cancellations and/or exchanges must first be authorized in writing by TheNaturalHome.com. Do not send merchandise back until we supply an address for the shipment as it may well not go back to same warehouse it was shipped from. Contact us with invoice number and reason for return/exchange to obtain a return authorization number. No returns, refunds or exchanges will be authorized more than 90 days after original purchase. Design consultation services, books, DVDs, info packets, shade material, and septic system parts are not returnable for refund for any reason. Once entered into the production system, custom shade panel orders may not be cancelled. Any authorized returns of merchandise must be in the original carton, in new unused condition, and returned freight prepaid to our designated warehouse. Original actual shipping cost will be deducted from any refund due along with 15% restocking fee on the merchandise. Please understand that items on our website are advertised as "Free Shipping", which is to be understood as "there is no extra charge for delivery of PURCHASED merchandise". UPS, USPS, FEd-Ex and motor freight carriers DO charge us a fee for delivery of merchandise. Should you wish to return merchandise, we will have to recoup our original expenses for shipping your order. Kobe, Sun-Mar, Clivus Multrum, Quanics, Solar Components, VestFrost, ConServ, Equator, Dometic and Servel returns are drop ship items and may be subject to an additional manufacturer's restocking fee. If an item is returned without original packaging intact, damaged, used or otherwise not ready for resale, it may be refused delivery and returned to sender.

  • Shade Panel Production
  • Our built-tough commercial grade knitted shadecloth panels carry a one year manufacturer's replacement warranty against material defects. Fabric is knitted polyolefin, usually high density polyethylene plastic (HDPE), specially treated for durability and UV resistance. Should you not have ordered a custom panel in the past, please be aware of the following trade-standard non-valid reasons to warrant requesting return, refund, remake or repair of any shade panel purchased. There is no up-down, right-left, top-bottom or front-back to a panel. The only dimension of note is Width and Length as shown on the automated quoting form and your automated email receipt afterwards. The finish Length will be as per the measurement specified on order (spec). The only time to anticipate deviation in finish meaurement is when Width spec is identical to one of our stock material widths of 6, 8, 10, 12, 20, 26 and 32 foot. Finish width will then usually be two to three inches less than spec due to folding of material edge into sewn taped hem (5' 9-10", 7' 9-10", 9' 9-10", 11' 9-10", 19' 9-10", etc). ALL other times, the size panel you request is the size panel we ship. We have always done our best for very satisfied clients over the years, but due to the very nature of working with knitted shade nettings, exact measurements are not guaranteed (warranted). Should the error be in excess of four inches (as measured across the taped hem), we will have the unit picked up for inspection. At no charge to you, we will either refund in full, once inspected, or remake the panel at our option. Just email and we will have it picked up by UPS within a day or two. This four inch tolerance is the trade standard for refund/remake and the only guarantee provided. This guarantee does not apply to shapes other than rectangles and panels over 32 foot long or wide. Hem tape webbing color is black only (no other option) and grommets are number four (1/2 inch) brass only (no options). We start at one corner and then proceed punching them in around/along all four sides in-turn. Grommets on one side of panel are unlikely to line up with grommets on the opposite side. Exact one foot on-center grommet spacing and/or placement is not warranted. Any size shade panel may have a factory knitted seam splice without notice in advance. While quite unlikely in a panel twelve foot or less in width, all panels over twelve foot wide will most likely have knitted factory seam splice from manufacture on dual looms. It is important to note that this is not a weak sewn seam where two separate panels are sewn together. We do not sew panels together to get larger sizes, but the dual loom production process does present a visible knitted splice. This knitted splice on larger panels is not a weakness, only aesthetic, and is not valid grounds for requesting a refund or remake. The white color knitted shade material can sometimes arrive with patches of orange discoloration spotting as a result of the manufacturing process. This discoloration will dissipate after installation in the sunlight - no need to worry. Shade material may always be slightly wrinkled from roll or shipping and knit appearance can vary from sample swatches presented and may also vary between various stock widths. Minor flaws in knit appearance, stitching, and snags are not a structural panel failure problem, only aesthetic. Shade material is lockstitch knitted to prevent unraveling, so the material around any flaw takes up the stress. Longevity is the same regardless of aesthetic appearance flaws in the knit panel. You can use needle and thread to pull small flaws together and Super-Glue, if you wish to improve the aesthetic, but we do not consider it a defect unless it affects panel performance. Shade material, shade sails, and custom shade panels are non-returnable for refund since they can not be resold as new merchandise.

  • Installation and Liability
  • Anything purchased from or through TheNaturalHome.com must be installed by the client's licensed professional installer and in accordance with manufacturer's specifications, local and/or state electrical, plumbing, health and/or building department regulations. Building department regulation requirements differ from one town to the next and it is the client's sole responsibility to ensure compliance. This is particularily important with hard-wired electric kitchen appliances and hoods, gas refrigerators, septic systems, greywater projects, and composting toilets. Even shade panel installations can come under local regulatory scrutiny (pull permits) in some parts of the United States. Client understands that shade panels are not rated for any fire resistance and hereby confirms that no fire resistance has been expressed or implied by Seller for Merchandise. Client is solely responsible for purchasing, "pulling", and coordinating all of the inspections for all of the necessary electrical, plumbing, grading, road, health and building permits for their project. Some of these services, as requested, can be provided to our Summit County, Colorado clients where TheNaturalHome.com is a licensed and insured general contractor (license number 6) and septic system installer (license number 69). TheNaturalHome.com is not an architectural nor an engineering firm. We do our best to consult on your project, but site specific engineering, load calculations, soil viability testing, and/or custom blueprinting are not included in any consultation service or system package we sell.

  • Warranty and Warnings
  • Our built-tough commercial grade knitted shadecloth carries a one year manufacturer's replacement warranty against material defects. Products which are not manufactured by TheNaturalHome.com are covered only under the manufacturer's warranty. Client is solely responsible for presenting all claims under those warranties directly to the warrantor. TheNaturalHome.com makes no consultation, service work, or system design warranties, whether express or implied and shall not in any way be held responsible for any customer misuse of our products or misunderstanding of any and all of our designs, whether express or implied. All responsibility and liability for any and all damages caused by viruses contained within the electronic files of this site are disclaimed. All information contained within this site and supplied by any and all TheNaturalHome.com consultations, design work and service work is governed by the following information disclaimer: Be aware that septic tank effluent, composting toilet materials, and greywater alike are raw sewage and should be handled only by licensed professionals trained in the proper safety procedures and using proper safety equipment. If you are unsure of the correct handling and safety procedures, please check with the local health department for more detailed information.

We are not liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages (including damages for loss of business, loss of profits, litigation, or the like). • Consultation Contract
  • Written consultation on the specifics of individual projects is available only with a system purchase and signed terms of service agreement on file. Our consultation is ongoing before, during and after construction in regard to the original project only. Technical assistance is different with us because our staff members live with what we sell. Housing, septic, composting and greywater systems all include free on-going consultation, so we'll take the time to answer your questions, ensuring your project is a success. At the very least, we strive to save you more money than you spend on our services. Mistakes can be very costly on large projects - short term and especially, long term. If we don't have an answer to your question right on the spot, we'll take the time to research it further and get back to you as soon as possible. We can consult on the phone, if you wish, but E-mail allows us to better answer your questions with sketches and links to related articles. Keeping everything in writing (sketches and e-mails) is a sure way to avoid any confusion with "you said he said" situations later. Our sustainable housing products are low-tech in nature, but their design is typically complicated by the seemingly endless installation variables for unique locations and applications. Any and all consultation (blueprints, photos, written word and sketches) purchased from TheNaturalHome.com are the intellectual, copyrighted property of TheNaturalHome.com and the client is only licensed to build one of these homes or systems as per this agreement. HTM house plans, septic system packages and greywater kit components were designed and priced for the typical home and based upon the average soil type. Whether or not your local building department requires stamped engineer approval, you are well advised to take our sample blueprints, sketch plans and system consultation suggestions to a local professional engineer (PE). Local PEs are familiar with your soil type and more aware of unique building codes and concerns in your area. Most importantly, a local PE is readily available for the necessary site visits. Your PE is then responsible for preparing a folder of "notes and details" which confirm the structural integrity, viability and liability for your project. TheNaturalHome.com is not an architectural nor an engineering firm. We do our best to consult on your project, but site specific engineering, load calculations, soil viability testing and/or custom blueprinting are not included in any consultation service or system package we sell. Communication is intended only for the recipient(s) named below and may be confidential and/or legally privileged and must be treated as such in accordance with state and federal laws. Any disclosure, copying, distribution or action taken in reliance on the content is strictly prohibited.

This agreement, entered into this ________ th day of _________________, 20____, shall constitute the whole agreement, in its' entirety, between Architerra Enterprises, Inc. Client hereby authorizes Contractor to perform work and supply materials as specified by Contractor's invoice for services (Exhibit A) and project detail letter (Exhibit B, if/when attached). The Client shall make payments to the Contractor as outlined above and specified in Exhibit A.
